My sister and I were walking out to the car to go take these pictures and there I was struttin' my stuff in a fur coat, Ray Bans and 5 inch heels cue hip-hop music video music; now, mind you my 5'7" self is standing close to 6" foot at this point in time. I took one little misstep and that was just about the end of me. I was so high up that I knew I was going to fall, yet I could do nothing to stop myself. I just let out a most-dramatic "ohhhh myyy gooooooooosh!" My sister barely bothered to help because she didn't think I was even serious on account of my dramatics. 

Oh well, I made it and carried my shoes to the photo location.

This is exactly why I rarely do heels! I do believe I also fell yesterday in my Thanksgiving heels.

I'm sure I looked nothing short of Scarlet takes a tumble. << click it, click it, do it!!

Now I know why they call it Black Friday

My Pinterest style board has become my most frequent 

wardrobe consultant. I try to pin outfits that include pieces 

I already own so I don't go into a downward spiral 

coveting every piece of clothing on the internet while on a teacher's salary. 

I also like it better that way so I can put my own spin on the 'fit.

Accessorize

Have you ever gotten a piece of jewelry that you just know that 

you're going to have for a lifetime? A piece that just 

has so much permanency and joy to it? No? No such serious jewelry? Well I did. This weekend.

My best friend asked me to marry him. 

I said yes. 

For the good of us both. 

This was us pre-engagement. 

That was actually the night before it happened. 

Just not a good look. 

Dating obviously did not look good on us. 

Enter, betrothal. 

We had plans to go to Denver this past weekend but I, being the 

responsible teacher I am, decided we should hang back. And so ensued date night. Normal, run of the mill, date night. We went out to dinner, shopped and got a movie. We were talking about the ever popular topic of marriage in the car on the way to my house. We parked, I got out and unbeknownst to me, my other half was about the make the biggest move of his life. He simply got out of the car and met me with a little box. All I heard was "Well, I don't want to wait any longer." The rest is a blur, a love coma of a blur. All I know is that I think I said yes kidding, I did! 

It's that time again

Must Have Mondays save me. I love love my blog but sometimes I'm drained on a Monday darn it. Must Have Monday rescues me because I am definitely never short of things that I want. I want I want. As much as I can rattle things that I want off I must also rattle this to ya,
