Specks Appeal

In an effort to somewhat move away from the "nerd chic" movement, I got some

new glasses.

Concealment

Fact: I used a thesaurus to find that word and it is a real word, mind you. 

I wanted an alternate word because the camouflage

not only described my pants but I wanted to go beyond that

and bring attention to the fact that my pants

legitimately blended in with their surroundings. 

Here we have it, concealment. 

Check and Check

Wear wineish colored lipstick, check. Snag another piece from my mom's closet, check.

Well, this was fun.  Before there was Polyvore, I literally would copy pictures of items I wanted and splat paste them on a Word 97 document. Here en lies my lust list, because it's pay day and I feel invincible. Too bad I only get paid once a month. Womp womp. 

Ho, Hum

Not too much excitement in my life this week conferences, bleh.  I was pretty excited to share my new frames I ordered from Warby Parker, but that turned out a little like this...

Just a tad bit large for my apparently petite facial. 

Luckily, they have excellente customer service and I should have some rockin' new specks appeal by Tuesday.

I recently redecorated my room and the last piece to the puzzle was a floating nightstand that I wasn't quite sure existed. So, duh duh duh DUH... Pinterest to the rescue! Found a DIY to fulfill my bedside table dreams. BAM. MIC DROP.
