I love cruisnin' my Pinterest board to find new hairstyles and outfits when inspiration and creativity is low and this Christmas was no exception! Hairstyles never work out for me on the first shot. I mean never. But as Justin would say, never say never! I followed this tutorial, and whaddaya know, it worked! Twas a fun, easy and lasting hairstyle!

Sometimes an outfit is just better staying in your mind and not being brought to life. Exhibit a ^.   This outfit is very Nebraska-esqu in the fact that I have snow boots on with a sleeveless dress which is totally typical preparation for our unpredictable weather. Point made by the snow-day-causing blizzard that came the day after I comfortably wore this sleeveless dress outside. Granted this exact outfit won't make an appearance to any of my holiday events, I just could not pass up the chance to participate in Friday's Fancies with AV of long distance loving again. I don't know why you should remember this day, maybe because of the fact that it was 60 degrees today. In Nebraska. 

I didn't really use bomb accessories like Jules did in this Pinfit, maybe my resolution this year should be to branch out accessoryingly it's a word speaking. BUT I did figure out how to make my pictures bigger! Boom, Blogger, BOOM. Baby steps.

This post. Oh, this post. The post that almost killed me.

My sister and I were walking out to the car to go take these pictures and there I was struttin' my stuff in a fur coat, Ray Bans and 5 inch heels cue hip-hop music video music; now, mind you my 5'7" self is standing close to 6" foot at this point in time. I took one little misstep and that was just about the end of me. I was so high up that I knew I was going to fall, yet I could do nothing to stop myself. I just let out a most-dramatic "ohhhh myyy gooooooooosh!" My sister barely bothered to help because she didn't think I was even serious on account of my dramatics. 

Oh well, I made it and carried my shoes to the photo location.

This is exactly why I rarely do heels! I do believe I also fell yesterday in my Thanksgiving heels.

I'm sure I looked nothing short of Scarlet takes a tumble. << click it, click it, do it!!
